4th of July

We had a really nice 4th of July. The day started with my mom and I taking the boys to the Danville parade. My best friend from high school and her dad met us there. It was so fun to hang out with them too! Here is captain Sully Sullinburger. How cool is it that is is from our small little town?!
Grady stood next to this perfect stranger the ENTIRE parade. At one point he was holding her arm. I am pretty sure that she did not sign up for the constant commentary from a 2.5 year old, but she was so sweet to him anyway. Grady loved the parade until the gun fire at the end...we'll for sure do it again next year!!!
Here is Gman with his 4 flags. He had so many flags he didn't even know what to do with them. he had them tucked into his shoes, hat, pockets etc. It was very cute!
Every party has a pooper...just kidding. Sean tried to take a nap there but all the constant commotions made it difficult to sleep. Both boys were sound asleep within minutes of us getting in the car to come home.

We ended the day with a neighborhood BBQ. All of our neighbor kids played in the blow up pools, had water balloon fights and of course played some baseball. Which seems to be the neighborhood thing to do this summer. Grady LOVES that he is big enough to keep up with all of them and I know Sean will join them as soon as he is able! Happy 4th of July!!
